Pioneer Cemetery Day planned for Sept. 16

Pioneer Cemetery Day is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.
The event is hosted by Henry County Pioneer Cemetery Commission. Residents are invited to visit and learn the history of this pioneer cemetery, Scott Cemetery, north of Mt. Pleasant on Old Highway 218/Iowa Avenue, located at 1851 210th Street.
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. For questions, call 319-385-4983.
In case of rain, the event will be held at the Henry County Museum at 403 East Madison, Mt. Pleasant.
