Pioneer Cemetery Day Sept. 18 in Mt. Pleasant

The Cemeteries of Jackson Township will hold their seventh annual Pioneer Cemetery Day at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Henry County Heritage Center Museum at 403 W. Madison St. in Mt. Pleasant.
Attendees can hear about six of the pioneer cemeteries in Jackson Township: East Grove, Pickard, Hicks, Hunting, Boyleston and Carnahan, and learn about some of the people buried there.
