Players Workshop presents free youth workshop

Players Workshop Theater's Young Actor's Productions is presenting a workshop called 'An Introduction to the Stage & More” for area youth on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Workshop, 1431 Grove St., Burlington. This is a free workshop for any interested student, and will cover topics ranging from auditioning and acting to lights, sound, and backstage business.

There will be two different sessions. The first will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will be for anybody in second to fifth grade. The second session is from 1 to 4 p.m. and is for those in sixth grade through senior in high school. Those attending are asked to come to the session that corresponds with the current grade level in school.

No RSVP is necessary; no theatrical experience is necessary. All that is required is an interest in learning about live theater.
