The Fairfield Police Department arrested Tony Ray Davis, 43, 504 W. Grimes Ave., at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday at his residence for failure to appear.
Police responded to an accident at 2:40 a.m. Saturday on Second Street. According to the accident report, a 2004 Chevy Malibu driven by Brandi Diane House, 21, 107 W. Adams Ave., was southbound when House lost control of the vehicle. She struck a street sign and a 1995 Toyota Camry owned by Donna Dean Lindley, 52, 105 S. Second St., that was legally parked in a private drive. The impact knocked Lindley?s vehicle into a 1992 Honda Accord owned by John William Griffith, 68, 107 W. Washington Ave., that was parked immediately next to it. House left the scene and drove home. She was transported to Jefferson County Health Center by private vehicle. House was cited for operating while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to maintain control. Estimated damages are $1,200 to House?s vehicle, $2,500 to Lindley?s vehicle, $500 to Griffith?s vehicle and $200 to the city sign.
Police responded to an accident at 4:56 a.m. Dec. 15 in the 1200 block of West Stone Avenue. According to the accident report, a 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Ashley Mountain, 36, 701 W. Kirkwood Ave., was westbound when it failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the roadway, striking a Nelson Company sign. Mountain left the scene of the accident. Mountain was cited for driving while revoked and failure to maintain control. Estimated damages are $1,000 to the vehicle and $3,000 to the sign.
