Fairfield Police Department arrested Michelle Carnes, 51, of Fairfield, at 11:53 p.m. Wednesday at Fifth Street and Kirkwood Avenue for possession of marijuana, two counts for possession of drug paraphernalia and operating while intoxicated, first offense. Fairfield Police Department arrested Michelle Carnes, 51, of Fairfield, at 11:53 p.m. Wednesday at Fifth Street and Kirkwood Avenue for possession of marijuana, two counts for possession of drug paraphernalia and operating while intoxicated, first offense. Police received a report at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday of theft of prescription medicine in the 300 block of E. Pierce Avenue.
Christian Steven Tosh, 18, of 204 E. Hempstead Ave., Apt. 1, was arrested at 10:38 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of E. Pierce Avenue for possession of alcohol under age.
Police investigated a report at 8 a.m. Wednesday about a vehicle burglarized in 300 block of South Court Street.

10:41 a.m. police officer notified Scott Vaughan about an open well on a property.
11:19 a.m. report of set of two silver mesh style luggage bags stolen between July 22-24 from cab of a pickup truck. Computer cables were inside the luggage.
11:54 a.m. report of a Chrysler Town and Country van broken into overnight, door not locked. Missing are a Tom-Tom navigation device, a flashlight and vehicle owner?s manual.
12:34 p.m. report of car broken into, no forced entry. A make-up bag was taken.
5:40 p.m. caller reported a known pot dealer parked on street for about 20 minutes.
7:24 p.m. police arrested Lucian Williams on a Henry County warrant for probation violation. Williams was taken to jail.
7:37 p.m. report of vandalism to a stop sign at Court Street and Briggs Avenue.
8:35 p.m. caller advised a suspicious person in a brown sedan in area. Officer checked area, unable to locate anyone or vehicle; officer went to caller?s residence, no one answered the door.
