Fairfield Police Department served a search warrant Tuesday at the residence of Nick Ballard in Eldon. Police found several items belonging to Ballard?s former employer, Fairfield Aluminum Casting Co., of Fairfield. On Oct. 30, FALCO reported several items worth more than $10,000 had been stolen within the past six months. The investigation continues.

Calls received at dispatch Thursday include:

12:44 p.m. a vehicle backed into another vehicle belonging to Maharishi University of Management, and driver left.

1:16 p.m. caller reported a vehicle striking a parked vehicle, then driving away south on Ninth Street.

2:10 p.m. a vehicle backed into another.

3:23 p.m. theft of a cell phone reported.

3:37 p.m. complaint of a vehicle without appropriate designation parked in a handicapped parking space at Walmart.

6:02 p.m. report of an physical assault; victim had no obvious injuries and refused medical services and refused to cooperate.
