June 28 – 2:20 p.m., harassment was reported in the 300 block of S. 17th St., Fairfield.

Assaults

June 29 – 4:26 p.m., assault was reported in the 1000 block of S. Iowa Ave., Washington.

Theft

June 29 – 7:48 a.m., theft was reported in the 300 block of S. Benton St., Brighton.

June 29 – 11:07 a.m., theft was reported in the 2100 block of Yucca Ave., Ainsworth.

June 29 – 7:21 p.m., motor vehicle theft was reported in the 300 block of E. 2nd St., Washington.

DUIs

June 28 – 1:27 p.m., public intoxication was reported in the 2000 block of E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant.

Arrests

June 30 – 10:19 a.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 200 block of Hawkins Dr., Iowa City. Charles Miller Jr., 46, was arrested on a warrant for violation of no contact/protective order.

June 30 – 12:37 p.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 3300 block of 190th St., Columbus Junction. Kent Harrison, 62, was arrested on a warrant for harassment 1st degree.

Traffic Accidents

June 30 – 3:37 a.m., motor vehicle accident with property damage was reported in the 2100 block of Hwy. 218, Mt. Pleasant.

June 30 – 11:50 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported in the 2000 block of Hwy. 34, Mt. Pleasant.

June 30 – 7:23 a.m., traffic accident was reported in the 2800 block of Wayland Rd., Washington.

June 30 – 7:38 a.m., traffic accident was reported in the 2900 block of Hwy. 92, Ainsworth.

Harassment

June 30 – 4:58 p.m., harassment/threats was reported at S. Adams St. and E. Clay St., Mt. Pleasant.

June 30 – 4:32 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported at 6th Ave. and 1st St., Wellman.

Assaults

June 30 – 4:26 p.m., assault was reported in the 300 block of E. Lowe Ave., Fairfield. James Thomas, 47, was arrested and charged with assault-simple.

Theft

June 30 – 11:51 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 300 block of W. Broadway St., Rome.

June 30 – 9:59 a.m., theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories was reported at Carpenter and 12th, Fairfield.

June 30 – 5:03 a.m., theft was reported in the 500 block of E. Madison St., Brighton.

Burglary

June 30 – 6:54 p.m., burglary was reported in the 400 block of W. Lincoln St., Washington.

DUIs

July 1 – 2:19 p.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 1200 block of 190th St., Nichols. Marvin Shilling, 39, was arrested on a warrant for burglary 1st degree, trespass – injury or damage greater than $300 and assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.

July 1 – 5:41 p.m., search warrant was reported in the 200 block of E. Washington St., Washington.

July 1 – 8:54 p.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 12000 block of County Rd. G56, Wapello. Sandra Paul, 56, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial original charge driving while license denied or revoked and possession of controlled substance marijuana 1st offense and 2nd warrant for failure to appear for pretrial original charge possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 1 – 9:53 p.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 200 block of S. Farmer St., Brighton. Daniel Riness, 42, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on original charge driving while barred.

July 2 – 3:24 p.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 12000 block of County Rd. G56, Wapello. Tiffany Turner, 33, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on original charges of assault on a peace officer, interference, possession of controlled substance marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and OWI.

July 2 – 10:09 p.m., warrant arrested was reported in the 500 block of 13th St., Wellman. Kearstan Schmidt, 20, was arrested on a warrant for controlled substance violation and failure to affix drug stamp.
