Traffic accident
Oct. 1 - 2:37 p.m., a hit and run was reported in the 400 block of North D Street, Fairfield.
Oct. 1 - 7:33 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at West Green Street and South Jackson Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 1 - 9:48 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at South Grand Avenue and East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 1 - 11:17 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 1700 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 1 - 11:59 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 100 block of North Locust Street, Winfield.
Oct. 1 - 2:54 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 200 block of North Locust Street, Winfield.
Oct. 1 - 7:26 p.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported in the 1600 block of 235th Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 1 - 6:10 p.m., a tractor backed into an Alliant Energy pole at East Wyman Street and North Pine Street, Crawfordsville. Power lines were in the roadway. Alliant responded.
Oct. 1 - 7:25 p.m., a vehicle ran from a Washington County deputy, then backed into the squad car in the 900 block of East Main Street, Washington.
Oct. 2 - 7:20 p.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported in the 3300 block of Ash Avenue, Hillsboro.
Oct. 2 - 8:23 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 900 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 2 - 2:15 p.m., a vehicle went into the ditch in the 3100 block of Highway 92, Ainsworth.
Arrests
Sept. 28 - 10 p.m., Sadie Hartsock, 18, of Mt. Pleasant, who was in custody of Henry County Jail, received additional charges of assault on people in certain occupations (no injury) and interference with official acts.
Oct. 1 - 4:16 p.m., Angelic Marie Ehret, 25, of the 500 block of North Farmer Street, Brighton, was arrested at East Main Street and South Van Buren Street, Brighton, for driving while revoked, expired registration and failure to secure a child.
Oct. 1 - 11:23 p.m., Michael Joseph Becker, 45, of the 1500 block of Riverside Road, Riverside, was arrested in the 2400 block of Highway 92, Washington, and charged with fifth-degree theft. He was trespassed from the store.
Oct. 2 - 12:15 p.m., Terra Marie Malott, 22, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested in the 300 block of Cherry Street, Salem, and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication and simple assault.
Oct. 2 - 1:06 p.m., Mary Jane Soto, 45, of the 300 block of North C Avenue, Washington, was arrested in the 600 block of E Avenue, Kalona, on a warrant.
Oct. 2 - 2:16 p.m., Donald Eugene Williams, 20, was arrested in the Washington County Jail for assault causing serious bodily injury.
Oct. 2 - 3:10 p.m., Wyatt Allen Ball, 24, of Oklahoma, was arrested in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard, Washington, on a warrant.
Oct. 2 - 3:10 p.m., Antoine Nathaniel Cornner, 21, of the 600 block of North Marion, Washington, was arrested in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard, Washington, on a warrant.
Oct. 2 - 3:10 p.m., Brett Allen Wulf, 38, of the 1100 block of East Adams Street, Washington, was arrested in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard on a warrant.

Oct. 1 - 9:36 p.m., Terri Chick of Washington, was cited in the 200 block of East Washington Street, Washington, for unsafe backing.
Oct. 1 - 11:43 a.m., Melissa McCulley, of Washington, was cited at North Second Avenue and East Main Street, Washington, for striking an unattended vehicle.

Oct. 1 - 10:13 a.m., drugs-narcotic violations, assault (aggravated), other offenses, was investigated in the 100 block of North Sixth Street, Fairfield.

Oct. 1 - 11:08 a.m., theft was reported in the 400 block of North Fourth Street, Fairfield.
Oct. 1, 7:36 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of North McCoy Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 1 - 6:43 p.m., assault was reported in the 100 block of West Washington Street, Washington.

Oct. 1 - 2:32 p.m., harassment was reported in the 200 block of North Ninth Street, Fairfield.
Oct. 1 - 10:50 a.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 200 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 2 - 10:16 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 700 block of South Fourth Avenue, Washington.
Sex offenses
Oct. 2 - 11:44 p.m., sex offenses were reported in the 500 block of East Webster Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Missing person
Oct. 1 - 6:19 a.m., Fairfield and Ottumwa police departments spoke about a missing person (mental).
Oct. 1 - 8:32 p.m., Fairfield police and Wapello County Sheriff's Office spoke about a missing person (runaway).
Fire
Sept. 30 - 3:23 p.m., a structure fire was reported in the 1000 block of South Sixth Street, Fairfield.
Sept. 30 - 2:41 p.m., a fire alarm was pulled in the 500 block of 13th Street, Wellman.
Sept. 30 - 3:56 p.m., a fire alarm company reported an alarm going off in the 1300 block of North Fifth Avenue, Washington.
Oct. 1 - 6 a.m., a controlled burn was reported in the 400 block of North Goodyear Road, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 1 - 6:08 p.m., a general fire alarm was reported in the 100 block of North Bashford Street, Winfield.
Oct. 1 - 7:53 p.m., a fire alarm sounded in the 400 block of North Broadway Street, Mt. Pleasant.
