Aug. 14 - 2:23 p.m., a fire alarm sounded in the 100 block of North Jackson Street, Wayland.

Aug. 15 - 11:42 a.m., a burn complaint was reported in the 100 block of West Warren Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Aug. 15 - 1:37 p.m., Kerby Canye was arrested on a warrant for harassment in the 800 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Aug. 15 - 10:47 a.m., Kendrick Jon Sojka, 36, of the 600 block of East Third Street, Washington, was arrested at his home on a warrant for failure to appear.

Aug. 15 - 3:05 p.m., Brandon Ferdig, 22, of the 800 block of South C Avenue, Washington, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree theft in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard, Washington.

Aug. 15 - 5:03 p.m., Austin Thomas Brown, 22, of Iowa City, was arrested on a warrant for domestic abuse assault in the 300 block of East Fifth Street, Muscatine.

Aug. 15 - 5:19 p.m., Jacob Daniel Timmsen, 28, of the 300 block of Poplar Street, Bennett, was arrested on warrants for driving while license denied or revoked and driving under suspension in the 1100 block of East 46th Street, Davenport.

Aug. 15 - 10:28 p.m., Blayze Allen Muntz, 18, of the 200 block of West Fifth Street, Ottumwa, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial in the 300 block of West Second Street, Ottumwa.

Aug. 15 - 2:15 p.m., Melissa Toni Stout, of the 800 block of West Monroe Street, was cited for dog running at large in the 800 block of West Monroe Street, Washington.

Burglary

Aug 4 - 6:55 p.m., burglary was reported in the 1400 block of West Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant. Caitlyn Mayor, 32, of Washington, was charged with four counts of third-degree burglary (motor vehicle) and four counts of operating vehicle without owners' consent, trespass causing damage and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Aug. 15 - 4:59 p.m., burglary/breaking and entering was investigated in the 1000 block of Sunny Lane, Fairfield.

Assault

Aug. 15 - 11:23 a.m., assault was investigated in the 300 block of West Adams Avenue, Fairfield.

Aug. 15 - 6:15 p.m., assault was reported in the 200 block of West Madison Street, Washington.

Missing person

Aug. 15 - 9:57 p.m., a missing child was reported in the 200 block of A Avenue, Kalona. The child was located and returned home.
