Arrests
Aug. 15 – no time given, Lacie Marie Teal, 34, was arrested on the shoulder of Highway 34 in Henry County and charged with operating while intoxicated - second offense, open container and interference with official acts.
Aug. 16 – 10:17 a.m., Jose Daniel Ramirez, 43, of the 400 block of South C Avenue, Washington, was arrested at his home for failure to appear for initial appearance on a municipal infraction citation.
Aug. 16 – 2:03 p.m., Daniel Jacob, 28, of the 300 block of Popular Street, Bennett, was arrested in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard, Washington, on a Muscatine County warrant for failure to appear.
Aug. 16 – 7:12 p.m., Ashley Elizabeth Hickman, 32, of the 700 block of West Ridgeway, Cedar Falls, was arrested in the 3100 block of Highway 22, Riverside on a Centerville Police Department warrant for failure to appear.
Aug. 16 – 8:39 p.m., Luciano Ramirez Torres, 45, of the 800 block of Second Street, Columbus Junction, was arrested in the 600 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth on a Johnson County Sheriff's Office warrant for mittimus to serve two days.
Aug. 17 – 10:45 a.m., Anthony William Brush, 36, of Bonaparte, was arrested at Main Street and Van Buren Street in Salem and charged with operating while under the influence - second offense.
Aug. 18 – 6:20 a.m., Wyatt Coleman, 42, of the 1600 block of 100th Avenue, Farmington, was arrested in the 2100 block of South Main Street, Fairfield, and charged with contempt of court, violation of a restraining order.
Aug. 18 – 11:07 a.m., James Arnett Bouie Jr., 37, of the 100 block of North Glasgow Street, Riverside, was arrested in the 1100 block of Enterprise Drive, Riverside, for OWI - first offense and open container.
Aug. 18 – 12:58 p.m., Dale Laverne Fleming, 59, of 1500 block of Franklin Avenue, Wayland, was arrested in the 3300 block of Highway 218, Crawfordsville, for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance – third or subsequent (marijuana), possession of a controlled substance – third or subsequent offence (methamphetamine), possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
Aug. 18 – 7:12 p.m., Edtwon M. Mullins, 30, of Missouri, was arrested at 150th Street and Highway 218, Riverside, on a warrant out of Missouri.
Aug. 19 – no time given, Darcy Hardin, 38, was arrested in the 2300 grid of 120th Street in rural Henry County for simple domestic abuse assault-first offense.
Aug. 19 – no time given, several individuals were arrested during a traffic stop on Highway 218 near mile marker 40. Criss Tajeddin, 26, on a Lee County warrant for forgery; Allen Penrod, 26, for possession with intent to deliver marijuana; and Dylan Kite, 21, for possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.

Aug. 16 – 3:45 p.m., a municipal infractions citation was issued in the 1200 block of West Grimes Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 16 – 1:46 a.m., Amanda Gorrell of Fairfield was charged in Mt. Pleasant with trespass, disorderly conduct and fifth-degree criminal mischief.
Aug. 17 – 11:57 p.m., a citation was issued to Nanya Zefaniah Walker-El for drug paraphernalia in the 1500 block of Highway 1, Washington.
Vehicle accidents
Aug. 16 – 10:58 a.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 500 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 17 – 1:25 a.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 17 – 10:51 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with injuries, was reported in the 1700 block of Salem Road, Salem.
Aug. 17 – 2:40 p.m., parked vehicle in the 600 block of Sixth Street, Wellman, was struck overnight.
Aug. 18 – 11:55 p.m., three vehicles were damaging a mud road at 135th Street and Riverside Road, Riverside. One vehicle is stuck in the mud.
Aug. 18 – 1:32 p.m., a vehicle went in the ditch at 135th Street and Riverside Road, Riverside.
Aug. 18 – 6:53 p.m., an accident with no injuries was reported in the 3100 block of Highway 92, Ainsworth.

Aug. 16 – 11:21 a.m., harassment was reported in the 2000 block of North Court Street, Fairfield.

Assault
Aug. 16 – 6:29 p.m., a physical disturbance was reported in the 2600 block of Wilkinson Drive, New London. Erica Griffin of New London, was charged with simple misdemeanor assault.
Aug. 17 – 9:40 p.m., assault was reported in the 100 block of East Commercial Street, Hillsboro.
Aug. 17 – 10:41 p.m., assault was reported in the 1000 block of Second Street, Wellman.
Aug. 18 – 5:19 p.m., assault was reported in the 100 block of East Broadway Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 18 – 10:30 p.m., assault was reported in the 500 block of South Mechanic Street, Brighton.
Theft
Aug. 17 – 7:46 a.m., theft was reported in the 2000 block of Highway 22, Kalona.
Aug. 18 – 5:25 p.m., larceny theft was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.
Burglary
Aug. 16 – 10:18 a.m., a break in was reported in the 1400 block of East Third Street, Washington.
Aug. 17 – 12:03 a.m., burglary was reported in the 200 block of East South Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 18 – 1:44 a.m., burglary was reported in the 900 block of Prospect Place, Washington. Max William Goodwin, 18, of the 800 block of South Third Avenue, Washington, was arrested for attempted burglary-third degree, possession of alcohol under the legal age and interference with official acts.
Missing persons
Aug. 16 – 8:30 a.m., a possible missing person was reported in the 400 block of West Kirkwood Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 16 -- 6:29 p.m., Fairfield and Ottumwa police spoke about a missing person – runaway.
Aug. 17 -- 5:57 p.m., a missing person was reported in the 800 block of South Third Street, Fairfield.
Fire
Aug. 16 – 2:24 p.m., Fairfield Fire Department assisted EMS in the 600 block of West Monroe Avenue.
Aug. 16 – 4:22 p.m., a gas line was possibly punctured in the 100 block of North Taylor Street, Brighton.
Aug. 17 – 7:45 a.m., a smoke complaint was investigated in the 100 block of East Adams Avenue, Fairfield.
