Traffic accidents
Oct. 5 - 11:49 a.m., an accident was reported at the Henry Washington Road and Highway 218, Crawfordsville.
Oct. 5 - 7:07 p.m., a vehicle vs. deer was reported in the 2500 block of Highway 22, Riverside.
Oct. 5 - 2:31 a.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported at South Pine Street and East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 5 - 11:47 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 1800 block of Henry Washington Street, Crawfordsville.
Oct. 5 - 3:40 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 600 block of North White Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Oct. 6 - 7:11 a.m., a hit and run was reported in the 100 block of South Fourth Street, Fairfield.Oct. 6 - 3:15 p.m., a traffic accident was reported at North Knisel Street and West First Street, Riverside. Elliott Heflin, of Kinross, was cited for no insurance (accident related).
Arrests
Oct. 4 - 12:55 p.m., Hoby Fowler, of Winfield, was charged in the 200 block of East Ash Street, Winfield, with domestic abuse assault (bodily injury first), third-degree criminal mischief, public intoxication and false reports to a public entity.
Oct. 5 - 3:23 a.m., Garret Lee Detrick, 31, of the 2000 block of 323rd Street, New London, was arrested in the 1200 block of Highway 218, Washington County, and charged with operating while intoxicated.
Oct. 5 - 2:13 a.m., Kenneth Lewis Buehlmann II, 56, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 100 block of North Court Street, Fairfield, and charged with public consumption or intoxication.
Oct. 5 - 4:32 p.m., Jason Robert Potts, 36, of the 800 block of North B Street, Fairfield, was arrested in the 2900 block of West Grimes Avenue, Fairfield, and charged with driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied, possession with the intent to deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), second-degree theft.
Oct. 5 - 8:21 p.m., Brian Dean Rork, 42, and Melissa Sue Franklin, 47, both of the 600 block of West Broadway Avenue, Fairfield, were arrested in the 600 block of West Broadway Avenue, Fairfield, and charged with disorderly conduct.
Oct. 5 - 10:45 p.m., an arrest on a warrant was made in the 300 block of West Polk Avenue, Fairfield.
Oct. 6 - 12:56 a.m., Kyle Schrobilgen, 21, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 800 block of South Ninth Street, Fairfield, on a warrant.

Oct. 6 - 2:26 p.m., Michael James Brush, 23, of the 50 block of North Court Street, Fairfield, was cited at Second Street and Broadway Avenue, for failure to prove security against liability (accident related) and operating a non-registered vehicle.
Oct. 6 - 7:11 p.m., a municipal infractions citation was issued at Ninth Street and Briggs Avenue, Fairfield, for a vehicle running a stop sign at Ninth Street and Grimes Avenue.

Oct. 5 - 4:48 p.m., a gas drive off was reported in the 700 block of Sixth Street, Wellman.
Oct. 5 - 8:32 p.m., a gas drive off was reported in the 1700 block of East Washington Street, Washington.
Oct. 5 - 8:46 a.m., theft/ larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 200 block of South Clark Street, Winfield.

Oct. 7 - 12:08 a.m., a caller from the 400 block of East Polk Street, Washington, reported a subject was en route to the hospital after shooting their foot on accident.

Oct. 5 - 12:36 p.m., a missing person/runaway was reported in the 600 block of South Harrison Place, Mt. Pleasant.Oct. 6 - 2:14 a.m., Fairfield and Ottumwa police spoke about a missing person.

Oct. 5 - 5:58 p.m., flames shooting out of a chimney were reported in the 1500 block of Sand Road Southeast, Riverside.
