POLICE: Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019

Information is collected from Henry, Jefferson and Washington county law enforcement agencies. As with any criminal case, a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Arrests

Sept. 26 - 10:41 p.m., Henry County Sheriff's Office received a report of a car parked at a residence in the 1900 grid of 170th Street that did not belong. Upon a deputy's arrival, two males and one female ran. Around 12:30 a.m., Anna Tampio, of Burlington, was reported walking in the 1900 grid of Highway 218, was found. At about 7:40 a.m., Travis Guinard, of Burlington, was reported walking on 200th Street, east of Highway 218, and was found. Tampio and Guinard were charged with second-degree burglary, interference with official acts and assault on a peace officer, all felony charges.

Sept. 27 - 3:52 p.m., Paul Eugene Perrin, 58, of the 50 block of Main Street, Rubio, was arrested in the 50 block of Main Street, Richland, on a warrant.

Sept. 30 - 2:10 a.m., Paula Jean Frantz, 47, of the 3100 block of Bever Avenue Southeast, Cedar Rapids, was arrested in the 300 block of Second Avenue Southwest, Cedar Rapids, on a warrant.

Traffic accidents

Sept. 27 - 4:50 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 100 block of West Madison Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 6:20 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 2100 block of Highway 218, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 2:42 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 100 block of West Monroe Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 3:40 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at Main Street and Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 5:04 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 400 block of North Main Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 9:42 p.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported in the 1400 block of Oasis Avenue, Winfield.

Sept. 28 - 7:18 p.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported at Highway 34 and Oakberry Avenue, New London.

Sept. 29 - 3:53 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 1000 block of North Grand Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 5:16 p.m., a parked vehicle was struck in a parking lot in the 500 block of Highway 1, Washington.

Sept. 27 - 5:37 p.m., a vehicle struck a car in the 900 block of South 12th Avenue, Washington.

Sept. 28 - 11:46 p.m., a dirt bike accident was reported in the 700 block of A Avenue, Kalona.

Sept. 29 - 11:05 a.m., a traffic accident was reported at Highway 218 and 310th Street, Crawfordsville.

Sept. 29 - 11:15 a.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 1600 block of North Second Avenue, Washington.

Sept. 29 - 9:27 p.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 1000 block of West Madison Street, Washington.

Theft

Sept. 27 - 8:03 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of Highway 218, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 28 - 10:38 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 300 block of South Maple Street, Winfield.

Sept. 29 - 8:08 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1700 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 29 - 12:28 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of South Main Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 6 p.m., a rear license plate was reported stolen in the 100 block of North Marion Avenue, Washington.

Sept. 29 - 11:31 p.m., theft of a cellphone was reported in the 3100 block of Highway 22, Riverside.

Burglary

Sept. 28 - 2:54 a.m., burglary was reported in the 100 block of East Washington Street, Brighton.

Assault

Sept. 28 - 10:48 p.m., assault was reported in the 100 block of East Clay Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 27 - 11:22 a.m., assault was reported in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard, Washington.

Sept. 27 - 9:06 p.m., assault was reported in the 1200 block of North Third Avenue, Washington.

Sept. 28 - 12:34 p.m., assault was reported in the 2600 block of 160th Street, Riverside.

Harassment

Sept. 27 - 11:26 a.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 200 block of South Van Buren Street, Brighton.

Sept. 27 - 3 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported at South Marion Avenue and West Washington Street, Washington.

Sept. 27 - 5:04 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 400 block of Old Military Road, Ainsworth.

Sept. 28 - 3:34 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 2900 block of Highway 1, Washington.

Sexual assault

Sept. 27 - 2:26 p.m., sexual abuse is under investigation in the city of Washington.

Fire

Sept. 28 - 11:51 p.m., a fire alarm was reported in the 700 block of North Pearl Street, Wayland.

Sept. 29 - 11:19 a.m., lightning struck a house in the 600 block of West Madison Street, Washington.
