Polishville Community Center events planned
Two dances and one lunch event are planned during October at the Polishville Community Center.
The first dance will be Sunday, with Lyle Beaver of Iowa City providing the music. Food will be sold beginning at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6 to 9 p.m. This is a free dance in honor of Wilbur Seindler of Ottumwa, who is turning 92 years old.

Two dances and one lunch event are planned during October at the Polishville Community Center.
The first dance will be Sunday, with Lyle Beaver of Iowa City providing the music. Food will be sold beginning at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6 to 9 p.m. This is a free dance in honor of Wilbur Seindler of Ottumwa, who is turning 92 years old.
The lunch, with bingo, is planned Oct. 14. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bingo will start at 12:30 p.m. Lunch and bingo events are planned the second Wednesday of each month.
The second dance of the month, with Jerry Beauchamp of Eldora providing the music, is planned Oct. 18. Food will be available for purchase at 4:30 p.m., and the dance will be 6-9 p.m.
The events are open to the public.
Polishville Community Center is 10 miles northeast of Fairfield on Pleasant Plain Road, then 2.5 miles east on the graveled 136th Street.
