Polishville Community Center plans September events

The Polishville Association is planning two dances during September at the Polishville Community Center.
The first dance is set for Sunday, Sept. 15, with Ned Francis, of Mount Sterling, providing the music.
The second dance is set for Sunday, Sept. 22, with Larry Fountain, of Iowa City, providing the music.
Each dance is open to the public, with food sales beginning at 4:30 p.m., and dancing from 6-9 p.m.
Polishville Community Center is 10 miles northeast of Fairfield on Pleasant Plain Road, then 2.5 miles east on the graveled 136th Street. It also can be found by traveling 5 miles south of Brighton on Germanville Road to 136th Street, then gravel for 1.25 miles or by traveling 8 miles northwest of Lockridge on County Road W40 to 136th Street, then gravel for 1.25 miles.
