The Polishville Community Center will be the site of several events in August 2015.

The annual bazaar will be held on Sunday, Aug. 9, with lunch being served from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., and the raffle drawing at approximately 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, Aug. 12, Lunch and Bingo will be offered. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and Bingo will begin at 12:30 p.m. (Lunch and Bingo are offered only on the second Wednesday of each month.)

On Sunday, Aug. 23, a dance is scheduled, with music by Lyle Beaver of Iowa City, and featuring Bill Peck?s free dance for his 87th birthday. Food will be on sale beginning at 4:30 p.m., with dancing from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Polishville Community Center is located 10 miles northeast of Fairfield on Pleasant Plain Road (W21) to 136th Street, then gravel for 2 ½ miles.
