POLISHVILLE NEWS: Polishville reopens for dancing

The Polishville Association is planning its dances again at the Polishville Community Center.
Two dances are planned in May.
The first dance is set for Sunday, with Lyle Beaver of Iowa City providing the music. Food sales begin at 4:30 p.m., and dancing is from 6-9 p.m.
The second dance is set for May 26 with Ned Francis of Mount Sterling providing the music. Food sales begin at 4:30 p.m., and dancing is from 6-9 p.m.
The dances are open to the public.
Polishville Community Center is 10 miles northeast of Fairfield on Pleasant Plain Road, then 2.5 miles east on the graveled 136th Street. It also can be found by traveling 5 miles south of Brighton on Germanville Road to 136th Street, then gravel for 1.25 miles or by traveling 8 miles northwest of Lockridge on County Road W40 to 136th Street, then gravel for 1.25 miles.
