Polishville plans March events
The Polishville Community Center has announced its events planned in March.
A dance with Ned Francis of Mount Sterling is set for Sunday. Food will be available for purchase at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6-9 p.m.
Bingo is set for March 4, with food available at 4:30 p.m., and games beginning at 5:45 p.m.

The Polishville Community Center has announced its events planned in March.
A dance with Ned Francis of Mount Sterling is set for Sunday. Food will be available for purchase at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6-9 p.m.
Bingo is set for March 4, with food available at 4:30 p.m., and games beginning at 5:45 p.m.
A dance with Jerry Beauchamp of Eldora is set for March 17. Food will be available for purchase at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6-9 p.m.
Another night of bingo is planned March 18. Food will be available at 4:30 p.m., and games will begin at 5:45 p.m.
Bill Peck, president of the Polishville Association Inc., said both the dances and the bingo games are open to the public, and encouraged people of all ages to attend.
Peck added anyone who wants more information about the Polishville Community Center, its events or possible weather cancellations, the cemetery or the grotto can call him at 319-694-3495; an answering service is available.
Polishville is 10 miles northeast of Fairfield on Pleasant Plain Road; east on 136th Street, then 2.5 miles on gravel. Signs are posted.
