Polishville plans September events

Polishville Community Center has announced events, including two dances and one lunch, with bingo, scheduled in September.

The first dance is scheduled Sept. 11, with Jerry Beauchamp of Eldora providing the music. Food will be available for purchase at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6-9 p.m.

The lunch and bingo will be Sept. 14. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with bingo starting at 12:30 p.m.

A free dance, in honor of Wilbur Swindler?s 93rd birthday, is scheduled for Sept. 18, with Lyle Beaver of Iowa City providing the music. Food will be sold beginning at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6-9 p.m.

The events are open to the public.

Polishville Community Center is 10 miles northeast of Fairfield on Pleasant Plain Road, then 2.5 miles east on the graveled 136th Street.
