Pork Producers to interview 4-H'ers with swine projects

4-H members in the Single Source Commercial Swine class are not only getting their pigs ready for the upcoming Washington County Fair but they are also busy sharing what they learned too. Ten 4-H'ers met with Washington County Pork Producers, Pat Gent and Tyler Gent, July 1 to share what they have learned through this swine class. All pigs in this class came from the same swine producers and have been cared for by the 4-H'ers since May. The 4-H'ers will be scored on their interview, their show ring performance, and carcass scans. These 4-H?ers will exhibit their swine project live at the County Fair Swine Show on July 16, at 8 a.m.
