Potluck to honor Nims? leadership
A potluck celebration honoring the Rev. Nate Nims for his three years of leadership is set for noon Sunday at First United Methodist Church.
Vacation Bible school planned
Immanuel Lutheran Church will have vacation Bible school from 9-11:30 a.m. Monday through June 21.
The closing program will be at 11:15 a.m. June 21.
The theme for the program is ?Tell it on the Mountain.?

Women of ELCA Action Workdays Monday, Tuesday
The Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America of First Lutheran Church in Fairfield will have a Women of the ELCA Action Workday at 9 a.m. both Monday and Tuesday.
Maxine Bates Circle meeting
The Maxine Bates Circle of First Baptist Church will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with hostess Ruth Leazer.
The women will be cutting quilt squares to send to Bethel Neighborhood Center in Kansas City.
Those attending the circle meeting are asked to bring scissors to cut the quilt squares.
Farewell potluck set for Page
A farewell potluck for the Rev. Stephen Page, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, is planned at 6:30 p.m. June 22 at the church.
Mission cookout set June 23
OLLIE ? Prairie View United Methodist Church will have a mission cookout at 11:30 a.m. June 23.
Freewill offerings will be accepted for the meal and used to support the church?s missions.
