The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Janis Powers of Pleasant Plain. She is a 2010 graduate of Suburban Heights Baptist School.
The groom-elect is the son of Steve and Patty Redinger of Fairfield. He is a 2006 graduate of Fairfield High School. He is employed by Agri Industrial Plastics.

The couple will be married in a private ceremony Aug. 17 in Fairfield, and a reception will follow in Pleasant Plain at the community building.
