Prairie Pride 4-H Club

The regular meeting of the Prairie Pride 4-H Club was held at the Extension office on June 22, 2014.

The meeting was called to order by McKenna Brinning at 5:01 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Sophia Kleese. Roll call was answered by 29 members, who shared one fair project. The secretary?s report was given by Holly Vittetoe and approved by Gracie Greiner and Sophie Bell. The treasurer?s report was given by Kaylee Vogel and approved by Morgan Brinning and Molly Sparks.

In old business, discussion was held on 4-H trips, project meetings and the flower bed. In new business, discussion was held on fair reminders and changes to the fair. A reminder was given to members to save any newspaper clippings for their record books. Communication deadlines and state fair entries are due July 1. Each member needs either to take one project to the fair or to participate in one event. Discussion was held on having a Prairie Pride booth at the high school dance marathon this upcoming year. The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H pledge led by Brenna Burlingame.
