Presbyterian Women meet in Washington

Eleven members of the Presbyterian Women met in the Campbell Room of the United Presbyterian Home in Washington on Dec. 11, 2019. Co-leader Karla Maxwell opened the meeting with prayer following the sharing of joys and concerns.
Members shared Christmas readings and memories. The Special Offering for December was collected for Operation Backpack. Kitch Shatzer reported on a corresponding missionary from Iraq.
It was announced that the World Day of Prayer will be March 6, 2020. Members prepared cookie trays to be taken to shut-ins. The Jan. 8 meeting will be hosted by Jane Cuddeback. Deb Helmick will have devotions and Betty Colby will lead the lesson.
