Presentation highlights Mt. Pleasant Fire Department history

'History of Mt. Pleasant's Fire Department” will be presented during a free presentation at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Henry County Museum in Mt. Pleasant.
The presentation will be given by Joe Campbell, the fire department historian. His talk will include information about the town's many devastating fires and the establishment of the department 150 years ago.
Refreshments will be served following the presentation.
The museum will be open from 1-4 p.m. Patrons are invited to stop in and help identify dozens of 1970-era aerial photos of Mt. Pleasant industries that were recently donated.
