Program on the Romani of Eastern Europe planned
There will be a program on the Romani of Eastern Europe and other places in the Fellowship Hall of the Washington United Methodist Church on Feb. 2. These are people sometimes called Gypsies, and they were persecuted for centuries. There will be a potluck meal at noon and a program around 1 p.m.

There will be a program on the Romani of Eastern Europe and other places in the Fellowship Hall of the Washington United Methodist Church on Feb. 2. These are people sometimes called Gypsies, and they were persecuted for centuries. There will be a potluck meal at noon and a program around 1 p.m.
The presentation will be given by Ciuin Ferrin, a member of the United Methodist Church. She lives in Cedar Rapids and is a Romani, herself. Everyone who is interested is invited to attend.
