Pumpkin painting, contest planned
Roosevelt Recreation Center is planning a pumpkin painting workshop, followed by a decorated pumpkin contest, Oct. 20.
The workshop is set for children in first through fourth grades from 4-4:45 p.m. Oct. 20 at the recreation center.
The $8 fee per child covers all the supplies.
People of all ages are invited to bring their carved and painted pumpkins to the contest at 7 p.m. at the Central Park band ...
