Ramseys to celebrate 60th anniversary
John and Barbara Ramsey, of rural Washington, were married at the United Church of Christ, Washington, Iowa, on June 12, 1959. They are the proud parents of Jonnine (Ron) Boyd, Jolynn (Mike) Swartzendruber, and Jeremy (Leslie) Ramsey; proud grandparents of Danielle (Kyle) Johnson, Bailey, Lane and Roby Swartzendruber, Layla and Jackson Ramsey; proud great-grandparents of Faye and Weston Johnson.
The family has planned for an open house to celebrate the event to be held on Saturday, June 15, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park in Ainsworth. A light meal will be served. The couple requests no gifts, please.
