Amy Green, 4-H/Youth Coordinator, said she planned this event to help expose more 4-H?ers to sewing skills and offer them an opportunity to complete a fair project with the support of a workshop setting.
?It ended up being a very popular workshop with many adults willing to step in and help as well. It was great to see so many caring adults working with our members and having a good time,? explained Green.
Washington County 4-H hopes to offer a second sewing workshop later this spring. Please contact them if you are interested in volunteering at 319-653-4811.
