Recovery meeting teaches escape from toxic cycle

Jane Symmonds of Fairfield visited her mother, Winifred Fritz on Jan. 27.
They were joined by Winifred's daughter, Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield, who provided the evening meal.
They enjoyed the afternoon and early evening playing cards.
Ten people (from the Brighton, Wayland and Washington areas) attended the weekly Celebrate Recovery meeting at the Brighton Church of God, Thursday, Feb. 7. Attendees enjoyed a lesson on taking action to become unstuck from any cycle of failure, as well as a free meal and praise and worship time. The next meeting - open to anyone with a hurt, habit or hangup, will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, beginning at 6 p.m.
