Recreation, aquatic centers closing for maintenance
The Roosevelt Community Recreation Center and Roosevelt Aquatic Center will be closing for annual maintenance.
The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub will be closed for 14 days from July 29 through Aug. 11.
The pool will be drained, cleaned and repaired.
Aquatic classes will be canceled during the closure.

The Roosevelt Community Recreation Center and Roosevelt Aquatic Center will be closing for annual maintenance.

Fairfield Park and Recreation Department officials said an option for swimmers is to go to the Waterworks Park beach, which is scheduled to be open.
Roosevelt Recreation Center will be closed for seven days Aug. 5-11.
The fitness center will be scrubbed, repaired and painted as needed.
Both facilities are scheduled to re-open Aug. 12.
