Rees family attends reunion

The 92nd annual John A. Rees Reunion was held Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Marr Park.

A noon potluck meal was enjoyed by 74 members and two guests.

Awards were given to the oldest member present, Lester Jones, 95, and youngest member present, Gwenivere J. Evans, 6 months. Award for traveling the farthest went to Clint, Ruth and Joshua Larsen of St. Johns, Fla., and traveling the least distance went to Jay Greene of Ainsworth.

Delbert and Sandra Rees celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and Lester and Marion Jones their 60th anniversary this past year.

The next reunion will be held the third Saturday in June 2015 at Marr Park.

Social Committee for next year will be Chair Mindi Rees, Jeanne Davis and Dee Anne Vincent.

Officers elected for next year are president, Sarah Mayo; vice president, John Evans; and secretary-treasurer, Sharon Rees.
