Rees family holds reunion

The 98th annual John A. Rees Reunion was held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Marr Park, near Ainsworth. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to forego the usual potluck and have everyone bring their own sack lunch. Twenty-five family members and two guests were in attendance and several joined us via Zoom from as far away as Wales.

The oldest family member present was Donna Rees, 86 and the youngest was Caeley Arthur, 9. Brittany Messer of Williamsburg traveled the farthest and Joel Greene, Crawfordsville, traveled

the least distance.

The next reunion will be held the third Saturday in June 2021 at Marr Park. Social Committee for next year will be Jeanne Davis, Chair, Luetta Greene and Brittany Messer. Officers for next year will be, President Ivan Arthur, Vice-President Jeanne Davis, and Secretary-Treasurer, Sharon Rees.
