The camp will be divided into two sessions. The first session will run 9:30 a.m. to noon for third- through fifth-grade students.
The second session will be 1-3 p.m. for sixth- through eighth-grade students.
Each session is limited to 25 youth, and a lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m. between the two sessions.
Participants get to see and handle some of the bugs that look a little scary, but are beneficial to the world and have a purpose on the planet, like tarantula spiders, giant walking sticks, African dung beetles, hissing cockroaches and praying mantises.
The deadline to register for Bug Camp is March 25. The cost is $10 per youth. Call 472-4166 to sign up.
