Register for Washington summer reading club
May. 12, 2021 12:04 am
The Washington Public Library is hosting a summer reading club.
Programs are planned for all ages, and will include special family events. Summer reading will run through the month of June. Registration has already begun and will end May 31st. As always, the programs are free and open to all.
“I am looking for teen volunteers to help me with my summer reading programs for K-2nd and 3rd-5th grade,” said Washington Youth Services Librarian Jenisa Harris. “Volunteers need to be in 6-12th grade. It is a fun way to earn silvercord hours.”
If your teen is interested, they can stop at the library to talk to Jenisa or email her at jenisa.harris@washington.lib.ia.us.
