Registration open for county fair pedal pull

Willard Hoskins of Keosauqua will be conducting a pedal pull for individuals with disabilities, ages 4 to 11, at 5 p.m. June 24 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds during the Jefferson County Fair.

Hoskins said it is not necessary for children to be able to pedal ? there will be competent support on hand to provide assistance.

Each participant will be awarded a trophy.

Preregistration is necessary so that enough trophies can be ordered to include pedal puller?s names imprinted on the trophies. Pre-registration may be done by contacting Willard Hoskins at (319) 293-3550, 919-8277 or by sending him an e-mail at pedalpower71@hotmail.com. Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the maximum 15 children have signed up.
