Registration open for Fairfield child care center

Community Childcare Center and Preschool is opening it’s registration for the 2021-2022 school year. Registration forms are available at the center or parents can call to put their child’s name on the list for the Fall.

The 3-year-old class meets Tuesday through Friday from 9-11:30 a.m., and the
4-year-old class meets Tuesday through Friday from 1-3:30 p.m.
Four-year-olds must be 4 by Sept. 15, 2021, to attend free. Tuition costs are covered by the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program in partnership with the Fairfield Community School District.
Three-year-olds must be 3 by Sept. 15, 2021, and there is a fee. There is assistance available through Early Childhood Iowa. Applications can be obtained at the center.
The preschool teacher is Heather Snook. She has a triple Bachelor of Arts in elementary education, early childhood and middle school math. She has been teaching for eight years with two years at Community Childcare.
The teaching assistant in preschool is Tiffani Haynes. Haynes has worked in the preschool at Community Childcare as a classroom assistant for one year but has worked in the child care for nine years.
Enrollment forms can be obtained for preschool sign-up at Community Childcare Center, 611 W. Jackson St., or at the ACT building, 403 S. 20th St.
