Relay for Life events planned

Relay bank night Thursday

Jefferson County Relay for Life Bank Night will be 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday at First National Bank in Fairfield.

Team captains are encouraged to turn in any fundraising they may have to date and pick up their teams? T-shirts.

Sign-up sheets for the silent basket and baked goods auction, Locks of Love, camping, team tents and games will be available. Quilt tickets will be available.

Those unable to attend the bank night, should call organizer Kortney Heald at 319-695-3820 to make arrangements to pick up the T-shirts before the relay.

The Jefferson County Relay for Life is noon to midnight May 4 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

Tip night set Monday

Young Relay For Life team members Dillan and Kaitlyn Post from Families Ties and Hunter and James Bechtel from the Cancer Exterminators will be hosting a tip night from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Pizza Ranch to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life calendars, quilt raffle tickets and cookbooks will be avilable for purchase.
