Relay for Life team hosting Daddy-Daughter Dance

The Family Ties Relay for Life team will host the second annual Daddy-Daughter Dance for kindergarden through fifth-grade girls and their fathers from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 11 at Fairfield Middle School.

Refreshments and door prizes, including a grand prize and a special prize drawing for those who have registered and paid by Monday, are planned. Photo opportunities will be available. Every girl will receive a goody bag.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.

The cost is $15 for one father-daughter couple; each additional daughter is $5 each or a $25 maximum.

Pre-registration deadline is Monday. To register, send names, address, phone, email and a check payable to American Cancer Society to Cynthia Post, 308 W. Madison Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Attendees also should indicate if they would like the portrait package, including one 5- by 7-inch photo and two 4- by 6-inch photos, for $15. Checks for the photo package should be made out to Times to Cherish Photography and sent with the pre-registration information.

Pre-paid registration is not required. Attendees can pay the night of the dance, but should call Post at 472-1404 to reserve a spot or obtain more information.
