Lutheran Women's Missionary League meeting April 27

MUSCATINE -- The Mt. Pleasant Zone of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League will hold its annual Spring Rally April 27 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Muscatine.

Registration and a light breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. The meeting and program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, with lunch included.

The theme is Psalm 119:105: 'Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”

The keynote speakers are the Rev. Max Phillips and Kari Smith of Lutheran Family Services. Lutheran Family Services is a Recognized Device Organization by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod for pregnancy support, adoption services, marriage counseling, and mental health counseling.

The LWML is a recognized auxiliary of the LCMS and the Mt. Pleasant Zone consists of women from LCMS churches in Burlington, Fairfield, Fort Madison, Keosaqua, Mt. Pleasant, Muscatine, Wapello and Wilton.
