‘Journey to the Cross' April 13 at Immanuel Lutheran
Immanuel Lutheran Church will be hosting 'Journey to the Cross,” an Easter learning experience, April 13.
Participants can arrive any time between 1:30-3:30 p.m.
As a traveler, you will have the opportunity to smell the aroma of anointing perfume, taste Passover food, feel a crown of thorns, hear the pounding of the nails and more. You will hear about Jesus from Bible witnesses and be a part of the Passion experience.

Community Holy Week services set
The annual Community Holy Week worship services and lunches will be April 15-19.
The services will begin at 12:05 p.m., and the lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with those who have to return to work or have other committments going first.
The offerings for lunch will be divided between Fairfield Misisterial Association and Cornerstone Community Well.
The services and lunches will be hosted by:
Monday -- First Presbyterian Church; Tuesday -- First Lutheran Church; Wednesday -- First United Methodist Church; Thursday -- St. Mary Catholic Church; and Friday -- Fairfield Friends Church.
Volunteers pack 22,032 meals
A total of 88 volunteers packed 22,032 Take Away Hunger meals in 2.5 hours Sunday afternoon in the Word of Life Lutheran Church gym.
'What a super group of volunteers from beginning to end,” said Don Henderson, one of the organizers. 'It couldn't be done without them, and to all who contributed their hard-earned dollars to this awesome mission.”
Another packing event is being planned for the fall.
