Free Christmas meal set in Packwood

PACKWOOD -- Packwood Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will serve a free Christmas Day meal again this year.

The meal will be served at noon Tuesday at the church.

Area churches plan Christmas Eve, Christmas Day services planned

Several area churches are planning special Christmas services.

Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville will have a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Monday.

First Augustana Lutheran Church in Lockridge is planning a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Monday.

First Baptist Church in Fairfield has a Christmas Eve candlelight service scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday.

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fairfield will have its Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Monday.

First Lutheran Church in Fairfield will have a Christmas Eve candlelight worship, with Holy Communion, at 7 p.m. Monday.

First Presbyterian Church, also in Fairfield, is planning its Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Monday.

First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will have its Christmas Eve candlelight worship at 7 p.m. Monday, and invites everyone to attend.

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairfield will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service of Prophesy and Fulfillment at 7 p.m. Monday. The church also will have a Christmas Day Divine Service, with Holy Communion, at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

St. Gabriel and All Angels Liberal Catholic Church in Fairfield will have Christmas Eve services at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday. Christmas Eucharist is planned at 10:15 a.m. Christmas Day, Tuesday.

St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield will have a Christmas Eve children's Mass at 4:30 p.m., and a Christmas Eve Mass at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Christmas Day Mass will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a Christmas breakfast in the Parish Hall.

Word of Life Lutheran Church in Fairfield will have Christmas Eve fellowship at 5:30 p.m. Monday, followed by a candlelight worship service, with Holy Communion, at 6:30 p.m.
