How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years? My high school has helped me realize I enjoy a smaller community, throughout high school I have built long-lasting friendships, I will carry these values as I go on to college and meet new people. As well as knowing I have support through good and bad times.
Fondest memory of high school? Sports, I could not just pick one, so let me share my top three: State cross-country my sophomore year; state track my junior year; and basketball having a very close team my senior year.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? Klynt Weber, he pushes and encourages me to be the best version of myself.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My parents, they give me so much support in school as well as sports. They recognize my success and are always proud. They influence me to push myself and challenge myself when they know I am capable.
What is special about your high school? Everyone knows you because it’s a smaller school, everyone is familiar with your siblings and family, and there is so much genuine support.
If you could go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? Be in every single moment, do not waste time wishing for the future to come, because it really does go fast.
