Reservations due for estate-planning workshop for farmers

The Jefferson County ISU Extension office is offering an ?Evaluating Your Estate Planning for Farmers? meeting from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 14 at the extension office.
The meeting is open to the public, especially those who would like to know what to do with the property that was left to them and otherwise, said Stan Hughes, director of Jefferson County ISU Extension and Outreach. Presenters Melissa O?Rourke and Kelvin Leibold, both from Iowa State University, will give specific steps on how to revise an estate plan for the farm business.
For more information or to register to attend the workshop, contact the Jefferson County Extension office at 472-4166. The deadline is March 11. A fee of $50 is charged.
