Brisky-Burke Wedding
Wayne and Debbie Lowe were in Eagan, Minnesota, Aug. 19-21 to attend the wedding of their granddaughter, Kaelyn Brisky to Sam Burke on Saturday, Aug. 20 at Schaar's Bluff Gathering Center in Hastings, Minnesota. Kaelyn is the daughter of Lance and Karen Brisky and Sam is the son of Mark and Christina Burke.
The couple now reside in St. Paul, MN. The outdoor wedding was held in a beautiful scenic setting overlooking a lake. The bride's brother, Adrian Brishky was the Officiant.
Kaelyn's aunt, Renee Lowe flew in from Wyoming to attend the event.
Florida trip
Nancy Love returned recently from a trip to Naples, Florida to help her parents, Bill and Judy Oehler celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. In addition to Nancy, her brother Bill Oehler, Jr. and his wife, Heidi from Rochester, Minnesota were in attendance.
An Open House was held in their honor--- 20 guests were expected and 40 came! Time to cut the cake servings in two!! One slight problem when the chef brought the cake in---Nancy had ordered a white cake with buttercream frosting and much to her dismay, the cake turned out to be German Chocolate with coconut frosting, the least favorite of both the senior Oehler's. Oh well, that's what happens when you plan a party long distance.
Nancy did appreciate the help of the Celebration Service Director for pulling the party together long distance.
By the way, Bill, Sr. is 92 and Judy, 91 years young.
