WHITE CLOUD CLUB DATE NIGHT
Members of the White Cloud Club and their guests met at Your Choice Family Restaurant in Wayland on Tuesday evening, March 7 for their annual Date Night.
The tables were decorated in an Easter theme with Easter bunnies, placemats and cute Easter figurines Each place setting included a candy and nut treat wrapped with a note that read, "Lets go "nuts" about Date Night and make some "sweet memories."
To make the evening special, members invited a guest to join them for an evening out with a meal and fun night. Each person made choices from the restaurant's extensive menu and were very pleased with their choices and some even added a piece of pie to top off their meal. Conversations included updates on what members and guests had been doing during the winter months.
President Jolene Colthurst opened the short business meeting with a reading entitled "Just For Today." There were no minutes or treasurer's report from the previous meeting. One birthday gift was presented to a Mystery Sister.
Those attending included Jolene and Andy Colthurst, Betty and Gene Lintz, Pat and Gene Miller, Margaret Patterson, Pauline and Floyd Richardson and Virginia Sands.
The next club meeting will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Your Choice Family Restaurant.
The group thanked Jolene for making the evening's arrangements and providing the treats and decorations.
