Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy will step down from his post after 18 years as mayor and 26 years in service to Fairfield. A retirement party will be thrown in his honor from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at Best Western in Fairfield, 2200 W. Burlington Ave.
