New London High School Class of 1979

The New London High School Class of 1979 will hold its 40th class reunion in conjunction with the New London High School Homecoming on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4-5.

A group of classmates met on July 13 to begin the planning process.

Class members are invited to gather informally at Woobie's in New London, after the high school football game Oct. 4.

On Oct. 5, beginning at 5 p.m., class members are invited to Kevin and Erica Pickles' cabin at 3391 Penn Avenue, New London, just south of Lowell. Teachers and members of the 1978 and 1980 New London classes are welcome to attend.

At the Oct. 5 event, planning committee members will provide snacks, and the Twisted River 61 Food Truck will be available from 6-8 p.m. offering a variety of sandwich entrees and sides for purchase. Those attending are asked to bring their own drinks and lawn chairs.
