Kleese family
The 87th Kleese reunion was held Sunday, July 21, at the Farm Bureau meeting room in Washington.
President Karla Maxwell welcomed the group and asked the blessing before the cooperative meal.
Patricia Dusenbery, Kleese family historian, reported one marriage, four births and three deaths during the year.
Anne Phipps was the youngest family member and Patricia Dusenbery was the oldest. CJ Griffith traveled the least and Marjorie Zimmerman of Greeley, Colorado, traveled the farthest. Wilma Wright and Patricia Dusenbery have attended the most reunions. Correspondence was mentioned from those who could not attend.
Family memorabilia was displayed for members to photograph.
Karla Maxwell was elected president; Joe Wright, vice president; Ruth Maddalozzo, secretry; and Patricia Dusenbery remains family historian.
The 2020 reunion will be held the third Sunday in July at the Farm Bureau meeting room.

Davison family
The 83rd annual Davis family reunion was held Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Washington Community Center, with 38 attending.
President Larry Swailes welcomed those attending, with Ken Wagner giving the blessing.
Descendants of John and Eva Davison held their first reunion Aug. 23, 1936, at Sunset Park in Washington, with 109 present. Names from the first reunion included: Davison, Hill, Wagner, Birney, Garret, Neff, Bell, Henss, Whittmer and Bain. The first secretary was Mrs. Howard (Dora Davison) Wagner.
Those that attended Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, were: Thelma Wagner, Jack and Jan Kiesey, Jerry and Janice Flory, Rodney and Joyce Letts, Don and Loretta Gardner, Ken Wagner, Bill and Jeanette Wagner, Mark and Sheila Lukins, and Mitchal, Isaac and Jennifer Lukins, Gary, Kirsten, Ashley Lukins and John Ellis, all of Washington; Cheryl Dahlquist of Keota; Leroy and Janet Bain of Iowa City; Donald Davidson of Wayland; Larry and Barb Swailes of Crawfordsville; Dick and Ruth Lukins of Columbus Junctijon; Bill and Nancy and Dominic Wagner of Morning Sun; Cindy and Connor McKinney of Letts; and Carol and Sandy Wagner of Forrest City. Also attending was David Davison of Missouri.
The next Davison reunion will be held at 12:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of August in 2020 at the Washington Community Center.
Officers will remain the same.
