Rider joins county sheriff?s office
Spencer Rider is the newest Henry County Sheriff?s deputy, according to Sheriff Rich McNamee.
Rider was selected for the position late last fall and will be attending the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy this month.

Spencer Rider is the newest Henry County Sheriff?s deputy, according to Sheriff Rich McNamee.
Rider was selected for the position late last fall and will be attending the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy this month.
A native of the Farmington area, Rider is a graduate of Harmony High School. He earned his Associate of Arts degree in law enforcement from Southeastern Community College. Rider also received a bachelor?s degree in law enforcement and justice administration from Western Illinois University.
Prior to joining the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, he interned with the Lee County Sheriff?s Office and also worked in the Lee County Jail.
