The Washington County Right to Life will host a free viewing of the movie Gimme Shelter on Monday, Jan. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Nicola-Stoufer room of the Washington Public Library. This event is being sponsored to mark the U.S. Supreme Court decisions legalizing abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy in our nation. The movie is described as a story of the struggle for survival and the hope of redemption through the harsh realities of life on the streets for a pregnant teenager. Based on the true story of one who finds refuge in a suburban shelter for crisis pregnancies, it is rated PG-13 for mature thematic material. Light refreshments will be served. The public is invited.
